Tony Laudadio

After working two years at the theatre school "La Bottega Teatrale" of Vittorio Gassman and a period of professional work in Rome with many different companys, Tony Laudadio founded his own company "Onorevole Teatro Casertano" with which he produces independent shows as actor, director and writer. He also works with Toni Servillos company „Teatri Uniti“ in almost all productions from 1993 until 2007. With Enrico Ianniello and Andrea Renzi he presents contemporary authors („Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are dead“ by Tom Stoppard and „Betrayal“ by Harold Pinter with Nicoletta Braschi) and pieces on italian history („Pinocchio“ by Collodi, „Santa Maria d'America“ by Laudadio-Ianniello-Renzi, „Magic People Show“ by Giuseppe Montesano). For several years he managed the "Teatro Garibaldi", a big italian style theatre near Naples, creating a place of research fort he arts (theatre, music and dance). In „Teatroo Garibaldi“ was produced a new version of "Die Dreigroschenoper" translated in neapolitan language by himself and Ianniello, where he sang and played. He has worked as a filmactor with directors as Paolo Sorrentino, Marco Risi, Sandro Dionisio and with Nanni Moretti. Tony Laudadio plays Saxophone, Flute and Guitar.
